known as "Winky"
Hampton W. Glover, III, "Winky" has been with Glover, Young, Hammack, Walton and Simmons, PLLC since 1993. Prior to working with Glover, Young, Hammack, Walton and Simmons, PLLC, Winky practiced in Denver, Colorado with the firm of Holme, Roberts & Owen and in Crested Butte, Colorado with Jim Starr & Associates, PLLC. Winky graduated Mississippi State University and double majored in economics and banking and finance. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Mississippi in 1988 and an LLM in taxation from New York University in 1989. Winky was a member of the University of Mississippi law journal while in law school.
Winky works mainly in the tax and business and individual planning area which includes estate planning and administration, asset protection planning and business reorganization and transactional work. Winky also works in the tax exempt area and serves as counsel to several tax exempt organizations.
Winky is a member of the Lauderdale County, Mississippi and American Bar Association. He is also a member of Central United Methodist Church in Meridian and serves on the board of several local organizations including the East Mississippi Foothills Land Trust, the Endowment Committee of the Boy Scouts of America Choctaw Area Council, and LOVE's Kitchen, where he currently serves as president. Winky has also served on the board of the Meridian Community Development and Investment Corporation, the Boys & Girls Club, Meridian Symphony Orchestra, and the Executive Committee of the Boy Scouts of America Choctaw Area Council.
Winky is married to Becky Heavner Glover from Tupelo, Mississippi and they have a son, Hamp. Becky is a former professional photographer and parent coach with Parents for Public Schools and is now serving as the Executive Director of the Community Foundation of East Mississippi. Hamp is a graduate of Meridian High School and East Mississippi Community College, where he was a starting wide receiver and a team captain on the 2011 National Junior College football team, and, a recent graduate in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Administration from Mississippi State University.
