About the Firm

In 1975, David Williams and H. Wingfield Glover, Jr., formed what is now Glover, Young, Walton & Simmons, PLLC. They had been partners in a law firm in Meridian, Mississippi, that had been in existence for more than 75 years, and they continued their partnership under the new firm name of Williams & Glover. The name has changed over the years to reflect steady growth and the addition of partners. Members of Glover, Young, Walton & Simmons concentrate in specific areas to enable the firm to offer a full range of legal services. All attorneys actively participate in the Lauderdale County and American bar associations.

Our attorneys are actively involved in the community and have held leadership positions in their churches, Hope Village for Children, the Boy Scouts, The Salvation Army, Care Lodge Domestic Violence Shelter, the Community Foundation of East Mississippi, the Phil Hardin Foundation, the East Mississippi Foothills Land Trust, the G. V. “Sonny” Montgomery Foundation, the Meridian Community College Foundation, the Meridian Museum of Art, Meridian Little Theatre, the American Red Cross – Key Chapter, the Meridian Symphony Orchestra, and Boys & Girls Clubs.
